    Racing has been a part of life here at SFR almost from the time we first opened our doors. Starting with SuperCrawl 3 in 2004 I became the Crew Chief for the RedBull Rockcrawling Team.   • Testing at the Hammers

    It's not too often that I actually have an opportunity to just run out to the desert to play for the weekend these days. Usually the only time I get to actually hit the dirt is because there is an event going on that I'm attending for business purposes, so when I got a call from my buddy Ryan asking if I wanted to join him for a testing/recon mission at The Hammers last weekend I jumped at the opportunity.   • StinkBug Updates

    The StinkBug is the first 4x4 I ever bought, and also the first off-road vehicle I ever built. I've owned it since I was 18 and around 2001 I did the first full build up on it. I swapped the original Isuzu drivetrain for a Chevy 4.3 V6, 700R4 transmission and a Jeep Dana 300 transfercase. I also cut off the stock IFS and swapped in a Jeep Wagoneer Dana 44 front axle. I kept the Isuzu 12 Bolt rear end, added ARB Air Lockers to both ends, and swapped around leaf springs until everything worked. For it's time this was a very well built good performing vehicle that could go just about anywhere. That was 10 years ago though...

    Good bye old site!
    Been working on a new site for SFR. We are excited about the new site as it starts to take shape. The main features will be an online store with a lot of cool features.

    This cool little rig was one of the first major projects we built here at SFR. It may still look like a Samurai, but there is very little left of the original $400 beater. We junked the entire stock drivetrain and suspension and replaced it all with beefier Toyota parts
