This morning I got quite the exciting arrival. Gerald Lee from Savvy Offroad showed up to drop off the Savvy/Currie Stock Class KOH Jeep, along with a lot of fresh parts. It doesn’t look like much right now, but we have a lot of big plans.
SFR has been involved in the King of the Hammers desert race since the first official race in 2008. For 3 years I worked with Dustin and Becca Webster campaigning the KOH TJ, and in 2010 I teamed up with Lovell Racing as Co-Driver for Roger Lovell and came out with a 17th place finish, earning a starting spot in the 2012 race. It looks like I’ll be joining a new team for this years race however. Continue reading
What’s that? A 2wd vehicle in the SFR shop? Yeah I know it’s a little unusual, but sometimes it does happen. This fun little gem came in recently in need of a bit of help. It’s owner recently decided to move up to bigger toys from bikes and quads, and bought this almost ready to run Manx, then immediately started taking it apart. He started with pulling the body off and putting in a 3″ body lift. Continue reading
