When we started designing bumpers for the new Bronco we had a few things in mind. Light weight, high clearance, recovery ready, and that they had to work with all factory sensors. We definitely achieved those goals with this one. By putting the meat in the places you need it and not where you don't we kept the weight down to just 50lbs, because there's nothing worse than losing half your lift to bumper weight.
Just from looking at it you can see how much clearance was gained at the corners, and we kept the bumper as tight as possible to retain the steepest departure angle as well. It actually Fits tighter to the body than the inside of the stock spare tire, perfect for those who are doing a spare delete, or who just don't wanna be dragging their rear bumper off those big ledges.
If you like being able to light up the trail when you back up, we've got you covered as well, with cutouts for a pair of flush mounted Baja Designs S1 LED lights. We also include cover plates for these holes if you don't wish to run lights.
There are two 3/4" thick recovery shackle tabs, and has been designed to fit with a factory or aftermarket trailer hitch as well.
Bumper ships in bare steel. Powdercoating will be optional for an extra charge.
